He is able. The real question is… Are you ready? Is the timing right? Is the season ripe?
Was Abram (Abraham) fully prepared when God called him? Not entirely. No one is ever 100% ready until they take action. It’s natural to feel uncertain, especially when there’s no clear plan or destination that the mind can grasp. But as we step out in faith, God provides.
Did Abram and Sarai make mistakes? Absolutely. Fear got the best of them at times. But was God merciful? Yes, He was! Why? Because He has a plan to restore us back to Him. Despite their shortcomings, Abraham became the father of nations, and through him, God blessed all families—including us!
Take some time today to read Genesis 12 and reflect on how our lives aren’t so different from the choices Abram and Sarai faced. Step back and look at the bigger picture. Ask your mind to quiet down and let your spirit listen.
